REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy

Effective date: October 30, 2026 · Operated by TK Media (FastMake)

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Korean version is the original and prevails if there is any discrepancy between the two.

This is the refund policy for digital content within the games and app services (the “Services”) that TK Media (the “Company”) provides under the FastMake brand. It applies separately by payment channel: (A) in-app purchases through app marketplaces and (B) payments made on the website. If applicable laws, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. (the “E-Commerce Act”), are more favorable to you than this policy, those laws prevail.

1. Scope and Payment Channels

  • Digital content within games and app services: digital content that requires no shipping, such as paid in-game currency (e.g., gems, coins), items, passes, educational content, and access passes.
  • Product names and prices are shown on the purchase screen before payment.
TypePayment channelRefund standard
(A) In-app purchase through an app marketplacePayment through an app marketplace such as the Apple App Store or Google PlayThe platform’s own refund policy and procedures apply, and refunds are requested directly from the marketplace. (Section 2)
(B) Payment on the websitePayment on the website through PortOne (payment gateway: KG Inicis)The standards in this policy apply. (Sections 3 to 6)

2. (A) In-App Purchases through App Marketplaces

  • For products paid for through an app marketplace such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, the refund policy and procedures of that platform apply.
  • Please request refunds directly from the marketplace where you paid (Apple, Google, etc.). Because payments are collected and refunded by that marketplace, the Company cannot issue the refund itself.
  • For inquiries related to use of the Services, such as when a product was not delivered because of a cause attributable to the Company, please contact us using the details below. We will check and let you know what action is needed, such as delivering the product.

3. (B) Withdrawal (Refund) Standards for Website Payments

The following standards apply to products paid for on the website through PortOne (payment gateway: KG Inicis).

TypeRefundableNot refundable
Paid game currency and itemsWithin 7 days of the payment date, and the purchased currency or items have not been used at all (full refund)Any part has been used or consumed; the item has been delivered to the account and used or opened (e.g., gacha draws, opening boxes); currency or items granted free of charge through events, promotions, etc.
Educational contentWithin 7 days of the payment date, and you have not started watching lectures, viewing study materials, or downloading them (full refund)The content has been watched, viewed, or downloaded (withdrawal may be restricted once delivery of digital content has begun; in that case we notify you on the screen before payment)
  • Limits on refunds after download or use: if digital content has been downloaded or used, its value is significantly reduced, so withdrawal is restricted (E-Commerce Act, Article 17, Paragraph 2, Item 5). The Company displays this on the relevant product screen and, to the extent possible, offers ways that do not restrict withdrawal, such as trial products.
  • Products that differ from the displayed or advertised description, or are provided differently from the contract: you may withdraw within 3 months of receiving the content, or within 30 days of the day you learned or could have learned of the fact, and in this case you will be refunded regardless of whether you have used it.
  • Errors attributable to the Company (service outages, duplicate payments, payment errors): if a product was not delivered or you were charged twice because of a cause attributable to the Company, we will issue a full refund or deliver the product normally, regardless of whether it has been used.
  • Termination of the Services by the Company: if the Company discontinues the Services, we will refund the remaining balance of unused paid currency and access passes after giving prior notice.

4. (B) Cancellation of Payments by Minors

  • If a minor (under 19 years of age) made a payment without the consent of a legal guardian (such as a parent), the user or the legal guardian may cancel the payment under Article 5 of the Civil Act.
  • When requesting cancellation, you must submit information that confirms you are the legal guardian (proof of relationship, contact details, etc.) and the payment details. Cancellation may be restricted if the legal guardian consented or if the minor used deceit to make the Company believe they were an adult.
  • Once a cancellation of a minor’s payment is received, we will recover the delivered product and refund the payment amount.

5. (B) How to Request a Refund

  1. Please request a refund by email or phone using the contact details below. Email inquiries are handled first.
  2. When requesting, please tell us your name (or account ID), payment date, product name, payment amount, and reason for the refund.
  3. After checking whether the product has been used or downloaded, the Company will reply on whether a refund is possible within 3 business days.

6. (B) Refund Method and Processing Time

  • Refund method: in principle, we refund by the same method you paid with (for credit cards, by canceling the authorization; for bank transfers, simple payments, etc., by refunding to that method). If the same method is not possible, we will agree with you on another method, such as a refund to a bank account.
  • Processing time: once a refund is confirmed, we will start the payment cancellation or refund procedure within 3 business days (E-Commerce Act, Article 18). Depending on the circumstances of the card company and the payment gateway, it may take several additional business days for the cancellation to be reflected.
  • Refund fee: even for a refund due to a mere change of mind, the Company does not charge a separate refund fee.

7. Restrictions on Refunds

  • Refunds may be restricted for accounts whose use has been restricted for violating the Terms of Service or for improper use (hacking, abnormal payments, etc.).
  • Payments that result from the user giving account or payment information to others, or from the user’s failure to manage it properly, are the user’s own responsibility.

8. Dispute Resolution

Disputes related to refunds will first be discussed with the Company. If they cannot be resolved, you may apply for mediation to the relevant bodies, such as the Korea Consumer Agency (dial 1372, no area code) or the Content Dispute Resolution Committee of the Korea Creative Content Agency. The standards for resolving disputes follow the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards (a notice of the Fair Trade Commission).
